Speech THERAPY STAFF

Our goal at Kidspot is to determine where the breakdown is for each particular child, tailor a therapy plan to improve the area of deficit and increase their intake and diet to include a variety of age-appropriate food(s). When dysphagia is suspected and/or diagnosed, the therapist will work with parents and teacher to ensure the child receives adequate nourishment in the safest form (whether that be thickened liquids or by tube feedings). Therapists work closely with parents and teachers to ensure that skills taught in therapy are carried-over in the home and classroom. Since parents spend much more time with their children than the therapist does, the at-home programs that the therapists designs are vital for success in this area.”
